By using Topsail Oyster ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Topsail Oyster is a digital guide to local businesses, events, and services around Topsail Island. The Service includes a directory, planning tools, events, and optional membership and advertising features.

You may create an account to sync your saved items and access membership features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Membership is free. You become a member by creating an account with an email address. Your account lets you sync favorites, saved searches, and your itinerary across devices. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

You may submit reviews, event suggestions, and business listings. You are responsible for the content you submit and grant us a license to display it within the Service. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or harmful. We may remove or decline content at our discretion.

Businesses may claim listings and purchase promotional placements. Paid promotions are clearly labeled and expire automatically at the end of the purchased period. We reserve the right to decline or remove promotional content that violates these Terms or our standards.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: scraping or reselling our data, interfering with its operation, attempting to access data you are not authorized to view, or submitting fraudulent or abusive content.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Business details, hours, and availability may change; we are not responsible for inaccuracies or for the products and services offered by listed businesses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topsail Oyster and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
